Vera Murri

Hello my name is Vera Murri and I am the founder and CEO of Dog Life Hoboken. A life-long animal lover, I spent my childhood years on my grandparents' farm in Russia taking care of the animals (cows, sheep, chicken, dogs and cats). After moving to Hoboken, I launched my pet care business in 2015 and became a certified dog trainer and mother to a wonderful baby girl in 2017.

I quickly realized a lot of parents need help introducing their babies/kids to dogs (be it a family dog or a newly adopted dog). I would like to help make this transition for the whole family as smooth as possible.

My Dog Training Philosophy:

I use force free, positive reinforcement training and science based dog training methods. These methods make training fun and enjoyable for both dog parents and fluffy kids.

I promise to take care of your dogs as if they were my own.

Victoria Casanova

My name is Victoria and I live in Jersey City with my dog Puggles. I’ve always had a love for animals and a lifelong interest in science and psychology. When I initially got my dog and began training her, I quickly discovered my fascination with animal behavior and my passion for dog training snowballed from there. I am a graduate from CATCH Canine Trainers Academy, a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA), a Family Dog Mediator, and a Fear Fear Certified Trainer. My approach to dog training is centered around opening up the doorways of communication; not only from human to dog, but from dog to human, while having lots of fun along the way!

Devin Haberkorn

Hello I'm Devin and I'm obsessed with your mind and the mind of your dog. And yes, I'll also be obsessed with your dog. That's because I have my background and Masters in psychology and have spent my professional career in behavior change. My passion is using the latest thinking in psychology and science based training methods to better understand people and how they communicate with their animals. In working with me I'll be there to demonstrate with your dog but I'm really focused on coaching you at the other end of the leash.

My goal with all my clients is to help you feel more confident and capable with your dog. Nothing gives me more pride than seeing my clients recognize small wins over time and celebrate big milestones with their dogs on their unique training journey. This happens through force free, positive reinforcement training that makes training effective and fun.

In addition to working with Vera as a mentor for the past two years I am actively working towards additional certifications to feed my curiosity around dog training. When not training you and your pups I enjoy my time horseback riding, traveling, hiking with my dog Macallan, and being on the lookout for the best old fashioned in Hoboken/Jersey City.

Chloe Parsons

Bonjour, my name is Chloe Parsons and since I was a kid I dreamt about being an animal whisperer.

I grew up surrounded by animals at my parents’ house in France (dogs, cats, guinea-pigs, ducks…) and had fun teaching them fun tricks. So, when I moved to Jersey City I decided to realize that dream, become a dog trainer.

I love the bond you can have with your dog, how you can be best friends and how you can give them the best life possible once you have the right tools to communicate together.

I graduated from CATCH Canine Trainers Academy in 2021 and I am seeking to learn more everyday and helping you along the way to become your dog’s favorite person.
